Multi-Sector Service Accountability Agreement (M-SAA)

The Local Health System Integration Act, 2006 mandates that Health Service Providers (HSPs), such as the Vaughan Community Health Centre, establish a service accountability agreement with the Local Health Integration Network (LHIN). This agreement, known as the Multi-Sector Service Accountability Agreement (M-SAA), is a multi-year contract designed to foster a collaborative relationship between the LHIN and the HSP. The purpose of the agreement is to enhance the health of Ontarians by improving access to high-quality health care services, coordinating care within local health systems, and managing the health system at the local level in an effective and efficient manner.
